I just looked and its been about 2 months since my last post. I apologize to the 6 (probably family) people subscribed to this blog via the RSS feed.
The hole started with a trip to Thailand the middle of February. I had planned on being really productive writing on the flight(s) and while there with a relatively open itinerary.
That didn’t exactly go to plan. I ended up spending more time enjoying the street negotiations (aka shopping), eating incredibly cheap but great food, and generally hanging out. It didn’t help the hotel wanted almost as much for internet access as we were paying for the room, so I resorted to the occasional hike down the street to visit an internet cafe (where they let me unplug their computer and plug my netbook in). But that really only covered keeping up with email triage.
Then there was the panic to get ready for certification so I can lead seminars for a national seminar/training company. And a chance to actually fill in on a seminar the week after my certification (most of my certification compatriots will wait almost 5 months for seminar openings, but tech topics are still in demand).
Enough excuses.
I’m hopefully back on schedule for a post a week (no promises for more, but you never know). It should help I’m at CTIA’s (the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association) annual conference. I do have to say, I expected a lot of cell phones, there are as many exhibits of cell towers.
Until later in the week, I promise.
